New Dance New Performance!

Hi everybody! MC Makai has news of dance! So we have been learning more about "Wade in the Water". Also, I think in a few weeks or so, we will be doing another performance! I'm really excited! Another thing is we are also going to be learning some Hawaiian dances. They are much slower than "Wade in the Water" but more relaxing. We also got sent white pants and dresses so the boys wear the white pants and so do a few of the girls and most of the girls are going to wear white dresses.

New Dance!

Hi everybody! I'm back and with another post for blogger! This time I will be talking about our new dance, "Wade in the Water." It's about how African American's would signal each other that they can escape from their slavers through the river. It is a really fast pace yet smooth dance. I really enjoy it and we are going to be getting costumes for our dances! I'm really excited and can't wait!

What's up guys MC Makai back to post again. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I kinda was working on other things. But today on 2/10/16 we had the Winter Arts festival and it was super fun to do and I was happy that my mom got to watch it! We performed a dance to the song I See Fire.

3rd Post!

Hi people of blogger! MC Makai is back with his 3rd post and we are starting a new unit of dance soon! I'm so excited! Next unit is going to be Jazz dance and our partner muscle dance I believe is over and we all know it! I wonder what were going to do in Jazz? Find out next time on Dragon Ball... I mean MC Makai's Dance blog!... Just kidding! I'm also wondering if we are going to have african dance! That would be great. See you next time

What's up guys? MC Makai here and more dance blogging is coming from me today! I'm going to start with this dance I learned. A dance about muscle movement, it was kind of strange. Even though I've gotten used to dance, after a little bit, I kinda got the feeling to it. I learned the dance and was able to remember the moves. Eventually I became comfortable with it! Later, we started to do it in partnerships. I don't remember the song name but it was slow and easy to dance to. I recommend it!

MC Makai's First Post!

Hello People of Blogger! MC Makai is going to now post about dance! And so far in my dance class the beginning was pretty awkward trying to dance with other people or the group. But after a little while I started being comfortable with the group and being able to work with others pretty well! Right now during dance we are learning how to dance to the song African Scream which kinda hurts my ears, a lot. I'll post again sometime soon!
